EADF 2013
2013 was our 4th year of running the EADF supported by the Arts Council of England together with South East Dance and Brighton Dome & Festival and I can confidently say that a great time was had by all.
We taught 60 classes from Mon – Fri in static and aerial dance trapeze, fabric, vertical dance, counterweight harness, aerial yoga, injury prevention, intensive stretching and dance.
Over the weekend we also ran a 2 day corde lisse intensive, a day long rigging workshop and a complete beginners ‘have a go’ day – PHEW!
Participants comments:
Inter/adv – Blown away by the EADF! I have cried, laughed, been out of my comfort zone and grown loads, thanks again.
What a wonderful programme and experience, can we book for next year now?
The level of teaching has been outstanding, world class tutors with real clarity in demonstration, description and presentation of learning.
The whole experience has been wonderful. Harness flying was a revelation and I would never have had the chance to do this anywhere else and it was all so much fun.
It was such an inspiring week. I am still buzzing with aerial energy and exploration.
Beginner/Imp – Over the moon that I got a chance to participate. Have been thinking how much more I could get out of it next year if I keep training and how much stronger I’ll be then. I’m looking forward to that!
Brilliant! The immersive experience and luxury of time to ask questions, develop skills and build confidence over the week, within such a supportive group environment is very special.
Really appreciated the teachers enthusiasm and passion and their encouragement to explore and make material ‘our own’. I always felt pushed but supported which was great!
Thanks for finding my abs!!!
